Dan Ford, Sleep Psychologist

Dan Ford is The Better Sleep Clinic’s founder and Clinical Director. He’s a Registered Psychologist, qualified in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), & specialist trained in CBT for insomnia (CBTi). Dan is also a qualified Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing (EMDR) clinician.

Dan has had careers in the corporate sector & the military (as well as having his own family) so he has first-hand knowledge & experience of the pressures & sleep challenges of modern life.

Dan’s experienced in 1-1 coaching and tailors his approach to your needs. He’s worked with a diverse range of people from all walks of life, including corporate & business clients, military populations, and athletes (from high schoolers to Olympians).

Dan first became interested in sleep while at University, studying behavioural sleep interventions for children. He decided to specialise in sleep & insomnia therapies after working as a performance psychologist with military special operations teams & Olympic & professional sports teams where he gained a deep appreciation of the fundamental role that sleep plays in all areas of mental & physical health & performance.

When not out running with an audiobook playing, Dan can be found chilling out with his family or pretending to be a handyman.
